It is almost 20 years ago, that Susan Bijl sewed the first bag at her studio and directly sold them to friends and family. Now their are more than 200 variations and it is sold worldwide. It is no secret that the Susan Bijl bag was inspired by the good old plastic bag. You could even call it a tribute.
