Fjällräven

Ever since the founding of Fjällräven (Sweden), their goal is to develop usable and comfortable products. The Kånken backpack was launched in 1978 to spare the backs of school children. More and more kids developed back problems, due to the popular shoulder bags. The backpack quickly became a recognizable and colorful bag at nursery and primary schools throughout Sweden, and the idea of using a backpack quickly spread. Today, the backpack is still as popular as when it started, and the fabric is so strong that some pieces from 1978 are still in use!
